Alice meets Don Fernando, who is proudly presenting his new acquisition: a hot air balloon. Since flying is the most beautiful thing for Don Fernando, he invites Alice and Benny Bunny on a flight. After overcoming their initial fears of flying, they enjoy the flight immensely. The peaceful flight soon turns into a great adventure. Don Fernando miscalculates the course and instead of at the Duchess's castle, the balloon lands at the screw mice in honeycomb.
