Dave initially refuses, but decides to help Alvin after Alvin sneaks into Bocarter's house and sees Bocarter's professional model. After some sneaking around from both parties, Alvin ends up building his model on his own. On the day that the project is due, Alvin gets an A+ because he was the only student in the class who built his model on his own.
