Episode Description:
After Light introduces Misa Amane to his shinigami, Ryuk, the two discuss their plans to get rid of L. Their plan is to confuse him about the powers of Kira and send him towards a different path other than it leading towards Light. Taking advantage of the situation, and of Misa Amane's love and affection for him, Light concludes that he can use her to throw off L, whilst his plans for a better world can be fully completed. However, Misa's shinigami - Rem - threatens him if her safety is compromised in anyway, she will write down his name in her own Death Note.
