Tanjiro is pinned by Obanai but breaks the ropes on his wrists and run to Nezuko, Giyü grabs Obanai so he doesn't stop him. Tanjiro stops by the porch and calls out to her, unable to interfere directly. Nezuko remembers her family and controls her instincts, looking away from Sanemi, shocking him. The Master takes that as proof she can be trusted. The Master tells Tanjiro that there are likely others in the Corps who, even after this, cannot accept Nezuko, so the Master tells him and Nezuko to go out and defeat demons and prove themselves and Tanjiro declares the siblings will defeat Kibutsuji, though the Master tells him to start with a Kizuki demon, embarrassing him - though the Hashiras warm up to him some, admiring his spirit...
