After defeating the blood demon art demon, Tanjiro journeys to Asakusa per his Kasugai crow's directions, and to his horror, locates the same scent of the demon back from hs house when his family was slaughtered, Muzan. Who's living in disguise as the father of a human family. Muzan, recognizing that Tanjiro is from the Demon Slayer Corps, casually slices the neck of a passerby, turning him into a demon to get away.
