The Ventriloquist's Illusion (Part 1) Riichi Tengan, a popular ventriloquist, has hallucinations that his doll wants him to kill his wife, Kazuko, so he asks Kogoro for help, but Kogoro turns him down. A few days later, Tengan's apprentice calls Kogoro and tells him that Kazuko has been murdered.
