Matt and his partner Garurumon join Tai and Izzy on their mission to stop the Argomon hacking into the U.S. military. The Argomon have hacked into a submarine and are preparing to launch a nuclear missile. Greymon and Garurumon work together to corner the Argomon leader who digivolves into a more powerful form, pushing them back. The missile launches and Izzy learns that its target is Tokyo. With everything on the line, Greymon and Garurumon suddenly combine into Omnimon.
