Éclair is avoiding Shinku since the cat thief incident, while Rico figures that she is in fact denying her true feelings for him and confronts her about it. Upon taking heed of the situation, Leo challenges her to a duel during the first round of the festival, claiming that Éclair cannot win against her as long as she keeps such hesitation in her heart.
