Musketeers are relieved of the king's personal guard and replaced by the cardinal's guards. The false king wants to drive them away from the palace so he can give free rein to his plans. Dissatisfied, they ask for an audience with the king, which is denied. After a fight with the cardinal's guards, Darthacan asks Juliet to go talk to the queen, who is forbidden to leave the palace. Finally, the king grants the audience, which reassures the Musketeers.
