Agents from the government who were dispatched to the site of Nirvana's fall show up and arrest Jellal. Everyone resists except for Erza who stops the conflict and promises that she will take full responsibility for her friends' actions, whereupon she urges the government agents to take Jellal away. Later that evening, Erza is spotted crying by Wendy. During the next day, after everyone went to Caitshelter to recuperate from the previous events, it is revealed that Wendy's and Charle's guild was actually only an illusion created by the spirit of their 400 years old guild master, and now that Nirvana has been destroyed and their purpose is fulfilled, they all vanish. Wendy is left behind crying, and Erza invites her to join Fairy Tail.
