Two years pass, and the children enter adolescence and Saki finds her feelings for Shun unrequited. He starts dating Satoru while Saki starts dating Maria. Soon afterwards, Shun breaks up with Satoru and starts distancing himself from everyone else. Saki questions him about it and he reveals that that the adults know about the events of two years ago at the summer camp. He warns her to be careful because it will soon be time for them to be punished for their past transgressions.
