The new giant monster and the Mandas reach Tokyo, where the new monster kills one of the Mandas and transforms into an amphibious form, allowing it to leave the water. Mei and Professor Li are traveling to London to meet with BB; on the way, Mei theorizes that the archetypes have an extra-dimensional structure, and Professor Li explains that the archetypes are mined from a few special mineral veins that are known as Singular Points. Their flight is forced to make a detour to Milan, as worldwide flights are shut down due to the Rodans. BB meets with his superior, Tilda, and warns her that Salunga will soon escape from their "Shiva" containment facility...
