When Sefuru realizes that Shimon is living at Princess Fuji's palace, he becomes jealous of the special treatment that Shimon gets as a demon. He later spies on him to see that Shimon is in an alliance with Akane and he thinks up a plan to use him to lure Akane out. Sefuru's plan leads to the people of Kyou hunting down Shimon...
