Alex Tachibana is invited by Taihei to his apartment for dinner, bonding with Umaru over their mutual love of anime. Umaru deals with her itchy ears after Taihei accidentally stepped on their ear pick. Sylphynford invites Umaru to her house to study for the exam. Taihei teaches Umaru the proper cleaning of their room. Umaru and her friends go to see a movie.
