Liscia visits Carla in the dungeon and she reveals how she truly feels about the current situation. Carla then rejects Liscia's intercession. Sometime later, Castor and Carla's trial proceeds in front of Kazuya and a council of noblemen. During the trial, two noblemen, Piltory Saracen and Owen Jabana, speak out for the defendants, while the rest of the council wants them to be executed. As such, the latter noblemen are killed by Kazuya's personal intelligence unit, the Black Cats. Castor soon receives his sentence: he is remanded over to Excel, is forbidden entry into the former Duchy of Vargas, and is not allowed to have contact with his son and wife...
