Episode Description:
Kagome Higurashi is dragged down Bone Eater's Well at her family shrine, only to find herself transported back to Feudal Japan. There Kagome encounters Kaede, who senses she's is the reincarnation of Kikyo. The village is attacked by Mistress Centipede, who is searching for the Shikon Jewel. Kagome crosses paths with the dog hanyō InuYasha, removing the sacred arrows to release him from the Sacred Tree in order to defeat Mistress Centipede. Kaede later bestows the Shikon Jewel on Kagome, being the rightful heir to its power.
