Meanwhile, criminal ring INTERGANG gets their hands on some tech from Livewire. Using it, they become Mist, Rough House, and Silver Banshee intending to rob Metropolis' largest bank with an unstable ice-beam weapon. While fighting them as Superman, the machine goes haywire causing Clark to have a vision of an invading robot army and develop his heat-vision ability.
