In their clash, Shigaraki grazes Deku and shatters into the vestige realm, stealing Danger Sense and proving his will can take One For All. He overwhelms Deku, driving them to Mt. Fuji and preparing to trigger a catastrophic eruption. Deku holds firm, believing there’s someone still buried inside him, but Shigaraki’s stolen abilities and regeneration push Deku to his limit. Though Deku refuses to kill him, All Might’s vestige senses Star and Stripe’s lingering scar within Shigaraki, showing a weakness. Realizing the only path forward is to attack Shigaraki’s soul directly, Kudo urges transferring One For All into him. Despite the cost, Deku accepts and reinforces himself with Blackwhip to continue the fight.
