While Naruto manages to reason with Sora, Sora touches Naruto and their chakara resonates. This makes Naruto turn into a partial beast. Yamato tells Sakura that he cannot control Naruto and he himself must fight against the 9 tails mentally. Sora regains his own consciousness and body to resist against the demonic power.
