When he's thrown back inside, Zoro recalls how he learned of the battle cry, "Sunacchi" and how Momonosuke was prohibited from uttering such cry. He also recalls Hitetsu explaining that his two swords, Wado Ichimonji and Enma were both forged by the legendary swordsmith, Shimotsuki Kozuburo. Zoro then remembers how 13 years ago in his home village, an old man who was rumored to have been a samurai told the phrase "Sunacchi".
