Donquixote Rosinante learns of his brother's intentions of stealing the Ope Ope no Mi and having him eat it. He resolves to steal it himself in order to have Trafalgar D. Water Law cure himself. Three days before the fruit is scheduled to be traded to the Marines, Rosinante infiltrates the hideout of the Barrels Pirates and successfully steals the fruit, but is caught and attacked.
