The Second Flood of the Sacred River. Pharaoh Merenre is dying, and it seems that Seth and his servants Aker and Ahmes will rule Egypt. Only Papyrus can still do something to save the ruler's life. At Ratofer's urging, he travels to the City of Scribes to learn the secret of his origins from Toth. He is the last descendant of Tutankhamun, a son of King Akhenaten.
