At the adventurers guild he encounters mute Cat-folk girl Sheila, just as he discovers Monika and Nanaella are there to visit him. Sheila hurries him to the slums to heal her father from Yenice City, attacked by bandits. Luciel also heals sick slum dwellers. Monika and Nanaella explain they are not the receptionists getting married and Luciel is furious to discover the local guild master forgot to pass on a years worth of letters from his friends...
