In November 1986 in Yokosuka, Ryo Hazuki is the only legitimate heir of the Hazuki dojo, and spends his days training under his strict father, Iwao Hazuki. After helping his school win the prefectural karate tournament, he returns home to discover a mysterious man by the name Lan Di inside the family dojo. Iwao attempts to defend himself but is swiftly stuck down by Lan Di, who demands to know the location of a mirror. After threatening to kill his son if he refused disclose the mirror's location, Iwao gives it up and Lan Di instructs his subordinates to retrieve it...
