Emília always has to go after people on the farm to pass on messages from Narizinho, Pedrinho, Dona Benta, Tia Nastácia, Visconde... one day she gets tired of walking around and decides that she must create a more effective communication. Thus, the doll invents a new way of transmitting messages: the butterflygrams, telegrams carried by beautiful butterflies.
