Chiyuki expresses her admiration for Ikuto to her friends. During the preliminaries, Jun Miyamoto, Takaoka, Toh, and two other contestants are chosen as judges. Ikuto presents an unconventional design of pajamas. Although Toh is impressed with Ikuto's improvement in the stitchwork, he calls it lame. However, Ikuto picks himself back up when he recalls Chiyuki's approval of his work and submits it without editing anything. Takaoka reveals that the true test was to believe in one's design.
