In the future, fish have disappeared from the oceans and only whales have managed to survive. The Ministry of Fisheries has set up a special program by creating gigantic fish breeding tanks in space. In Onomichi, famous for its old seaport, we train these new space fishermen and more particularly girls, in the interests of parity and equal opportunities in this profession. We follow the learning of six of them.
