Julis challenges Ayato to a duel, but the duel is interrupted when the Seidoukan student council president, Claudia Enfield, intervenes as Ayato is not yet officially enrolled at Seidoukan. Ayato and Claudia discuss his sister Haruka, who has disappeared and led Ayato to transfer to Seidoukan. Ayato is introduced to the class. After school, Lester MacPhail challenges Julis to a duel.
