Lighthouse in the Forest Periwinkle takes care of an injured bird from the forest, but it ends up dead in illness the following morning. After Papa Bramble tells him what happened, the young rabbit boy goes on an adventure in search of the spirit of deceased friend with help from a teenage squirrel named Acorn.
