When Thomas and Percy deliver some empty trucks to the smelters yard, they meet an old slow coach due for scrap called Old Slow Coach, and try to find ways to make her useful again. After a fire burns down the workmen's hut, the engines decide to use Old Slow Coach as the workmen's new home.
