Thomas gets himself into trouble, by bumping the Troublesome Trucks into Salty and spilled a crate of bouncy balls, he blames an imaginary engine called Geoffrey. But when people and other engines around the island start asking to meet him, the Fat Controller also wants to meet the so-called Geoffrey. Thomas flees backwards with Annie and Clarabel, and stops in Henry's Tunnel, pretending Geoffrey is in there with him and imitates him. Once Spencer stops in the tunnel, he states that there are no other engine in there. Thomas then apologises to Sir Topham about what he has done.
