Xavier uses the Danger Room to process Magneto’s death but discovers it has overridden its safety limits. After Polaris is dismissed from X-Factor for excessive force, she returns to the X-Mansion and helps Bishop when the Danger Room attacks students. Taking humanoid form as Danger, it exploits Polaris’s anger toward Magneto, then escapes to Genosha and defeats the X-Men using its knowledge of their powers. Xavier strengthens Polaris with positive memories of her father, enabling her to defeat Danger. Inspired, Xavier establishes X-Corp on Genosha, while Cooper vows to destroy it. Meanwhile, Apocalypse resurrects Gambit as a Horseman.
