The demon that has slipped into the dragon does not immediately find the darkness in its heart that it seeks. Lingzi and her dragon set out to leave town, but are stopped by the saint. She asks the two to stay until the end of the forthcoming festival in honor of the water saints. However, the extended stay also gives the demon inside the ancient dragon more time to search for darkness there.
