Yusuke defeats his first opponent by placing Genkai's lit cigarette on him, allowing him to see him and shoot him in the darkness. The semifinal round then take place on a hill, and Yusuke has to face an opponent who uses shuriken as his preferred weapon, having the ability to home in on their targets. Yusuke ultimately manages to overcome him, proceeding onto the final round of the tournament.
