Thalia breaks up with Daiman because of him. Phaedon fears the stranger could thwart his plans for power and reports him to Lord Kann. He sends Daiman and Balabust to destroy the stranger. But Daiman falls into a trap. After realizing who the stranger is, Thalia frees Daiman from his clutches and even agrees to die with him.
