Squidward is buried under trash after arguing with garbage men and vanishes for six months. SpongeBob and Patrick investigate, finding his house transformed into a trash wilderness. After navigating hazards and traps, they discover Squidward has gone insane from garbage fumes. SpongeBob snaps him back to reality, a gas explosion launches the house, and Squidward retreats in misery.
